It’s so hard to find real New York style bagels even though everyone likes to make the claim to them.
A New York bagel is going to be denser and have a chewy texture. Too many people have had versions that are not true to the original and get confused as to what a real bagel should taste like.
We are very excited to have discovered the store and will definitely be back. -

(January 28, 2020, 1:15 pm)I am a new customer of Lucille's NY Bagel and Cafe since January 24, 2020......let's just say I'm hooked! Friday I had the world famous 7.00 special 2 eggs, meat and bagel (Bacon Egg and Cheese) on a toasted sourdough Bagel. Needless to say, it was delicious. So good, took my spouse on Saturday am....she had Salmon with Lox on a bagel and I had again....the B.E.&C. On an everything bagel. Delicious. Took a classmate there Monday for lunch and I tried the Turkey Club on a Kaiser roll and it was good. Finished today off with a.....you guessed it the B.E.&C. on Texas toast and I got the Giuseppe (Italiano) for lunch and it was incredible! The owners are super nice, professional and welcoming which is mirrored by the entire staff. Pleasant smiles, laughter and excellent food recommendations! I am your new #1 fan! Happy Veteran

(March 8, 2019, 4:18 pm)I am so happy to have found this place! These bagels are made in NY and finished here in NC so you're getting the REAL DEAL. Having lived up in NJ and PA for 16 years, I know a good bagel shop and this is one! Look at these amazing lunch specials I got today. Everything was so flavorful. The staff I interacted with was so friendly and showed they really care about your experience. I can not wait to go back and enjoy it again.
