First of all, just let me say, to all the people giving this hotel bad reviews and few stars I think it's really arrogant of you to expect a Hilton experience for Motel 6 prices...you get what you pay for...that being said, I had a great stay here, and I was at the hotel 5 days!
Yes, the common areas had some bleach stains on the carpet and some scuffs on the doors, this just means it is well used and being cleaned consistently. I own a property management and cleaning company so I am definitely the authority on these aspects.
My room (203) was well stocked, very clean, and had no evidence of all the bugs other people claim to have seen. Everything worked in the room and the linens were fresh.
The staff was amazing and the night manager, Andrea, deserves a raise for how far above and beyond she goes for a thankless job and a company who obviously doesn't recognize when they have a gold standard employee. If Andrea lived in Texas she would now be working for me, because quality help like her is impossible to find.
The hotel was quiet even on the weekend and the pets that stayed were rule abiding as well. I was on the second floor of three but never heard anybody stomping around above me and no door slamming in the hallway. The hotel is in a great area set away from the road and surrounded by trees.
I chose this place for the price as a package deal and I am glad I did. Next time I come back this is definitely where I want to be!
For a 2-star hotel, this was very solid. The staff were all very friendly and helpful to me, and the room was very nice and clean. The hallways outside the rooms are another story. They've needed to be replaced 10-15 years ago with all the dirt and stains on them. It's in a quiet location, which was nice too, but pretty far from anything too. If you have a car, it's no problem, a lot of chain restaurants nearby.
Overall, for a barely two-day stay, this worked just fine for me.
