AN ABSOLUTE MUST VISIT. Was visiting Raleigh and stumbled upon this place, and so glad I did. From price to service to taste, this is 5 stars in every way. They offer BOGO rolls which are affordable, fresh, and taste amazing. That’s not the best part though. The owners made me feel like family. I felt more like I was over at a long time friend’s house for dinner than at a restaurant in a new city. Thank you guys! My only regret is that it’s too far from home to eat at weekly.
Got the Peter Parker (left) and Sweet Dragon (right). Sweet dragon was great, really liked it. Peter Parker just didn’t do it for me and the roll was really terribly done, so the sushi was falling apart and I ended up eating it like a rice bowl. Overall would try again for some dishes but not top tier for me on a first visit.
Food so good we couldn't help but become Friday night regulars! Jason and staff are consistent and creative. The sake knowledge and variety is off-the-scale great, and they love making special changes for gluten free customer (or, nearly any food allergies). Don't let the outside strip-mall location fool you - this place is a treasure.
I genuinely don't understand how this place exists. This is by far the cheapest sit down restaurant I've been to in Raleigh. Despite this the food is good and the portion sizes are pretty big. Their sushi was pretty standard but their Thai Basil was delicious and enough to feed someone for two meals.
So yeah go here before they realize they can charge 20 percent more and still be undervalued.
Great Mongolian Beef and dumplings. As well as the wonton soup—really comforting. We need to try the Sake. You have to admire the 2 people running around serving tables as well as managing the carryout. Plus the delivery person was helping out. This restaurant has been short of servers for awhile but somehow they make it all work!
