WakeMed North Hospital Emergency Department

I went to this ED last night for a terrible migraine.. Everyone was kind & caring. I didn't wait long in the waiting room at all. The triage nurse let me sit in a darkened room to the side until they called me back. It was very thoughtful & he started my IV so there wouldn't be a delay once the provider had seen me & ordered meds..I wish I got his name!
From the nurse who brought me back to the charge nurse to the discharge rep to the PA .. every single person was wonderful! So thank you to all! You guys are doing good things!
I was in & out in approximately 4 hours. 😊

Excellent standard of care. First, I am a physician. Second, this is how an ER should be run....with attention to detail, exceptional employees who go the extra mile all day every day, and compassion. You will find all of these here!! Can't begin to say enough good things about my experience in this ER.

I was treated with care, dignity and concern. Everyone was friendly and caring while being professional and safe. All questions were answered and discussed to my understanding. I felt that I was in the best of hands while the sought to determine the cause of my pain and discomfort. Highly recommend them. No wait, immediately assessed my specific concerns and began tests. Overall experience is excellent.
