(September 11, 2020, 8:29 pm)Large asphalt parking area under power transmission lines. Excellent access to the Neuse River Trail greenway at mile marker 17.5. Head north on the greenway to access the Mingo Creek trail which heads East to Knightdale or stay on the greenway and stroll the 17 miles to the dam! Heading south the greenway trail runs along Anderson Point Dr crossing the highway on the bridge leading into Anderson Point Park.
