  I took my nephew here for rehabilitation for his elbow. He is a HS baseball pitcher and his arm was hurting badly after every game. Steve worked with him and helped strengthen his muscles and adjust his technique to put less strain on his elbow. Highly recommend Steve Luca and MedStar Health Physical Therapy!

  I work with a teenage student who has special needs and occasional behavioral concerns. This YMCA was very welcoming and the lifeguards and staff at the pool were exceptional. They held him accountable for rules and were very patient. He also loves meeting people and learning their name and sharing his. The lifeguards all remembered his name the next time we came. Great job hiring professional and caring staff who can work with a variety of populations with ease!

  The pool and staff were very nice. The pool are was spotless. They continually were wiping down handle rails. However, the women locker room ,although new needs items to make it more comfortable, such as hook, a bench, a place to despens the bags for wet bathing suit instead of leaving the roll on the floor. Also it would be nice if the ceiling fan in the bathroom was on in such hot weather.

  obsessed. i feel like family when i walk in . the group classes are great (the times are especially great for people who work full time), the child care is amazing (5-8 pm every week day and some on the weekends, too), and they really listen and take feedback well. everything is clean and well organized. the lobby is nice to sometimes sit and just do work on a computer. can't wait for the pool to open when it's warm outside. the staff is excellent and clearly mission focused.

  We absolutely love our new neighborhood YMCA. It's the first reliable childcare I've had since my son was born. And he loves to go so he's always encouraging me to workout. I am very excited about the school and can't wait to apply for Kindergarten there in January. We were able to receive financial assistance and a neighborhood discount. That is what put our membership within our reach financially.

(919) 359-9622 Website. The best YMCA in the Triangle Area for me aside from the new one in Cary. The classes are fun. This YMCA is brand new. The staff is pretty nice & it's connected to a school.

A New YMCA and Elementary School opens in Southeast Raleigh

The Southeast Raleigh YMCA includes an elementary school, two swimming pools and a fitness facility, improving the community of Southeast Raleigh. YMCA, Wake County and Southeast Raleigh Promise work together to support a community.

Southeast Raleigh Beacon Site Celebration
