Very friendly and helpful staff. They stock nearly everything one might need for home, garden, or workshop (and often things you didn't know you wanted). It's a bit like stepping back to a less complex and busy time... probably good for the soul, honestly.

Honestly, the hardest part of writing a review of Burke Brothers, is trying to think of something that hasn't been mentioned in previous reviews. I have been going here off and on for 15+ years, and I don't think I've ever left empty handed. It is more challenging to get in and out without someone greeting you and offering to help, than it is to find someone to help you at any other hardware store. Burke Brothers is the quintessential neighborhood hardware store, and a tremendous asset to our neighborhood. Highly recommended, if you are tired of being lost at the big box stores, come find an oasis here.

Stopped by for a propane tank refill and couldn’t be any happier with the experience and value. The man that refilled my tank was a great guy and it only ended up being $20.23 for a full refill. Got up to the register and they covered the 0.23. I will definitely be back to do business there again soon. Great place.

Bought a gorgeous petunia recently. The plants are well kept and healthy, owner very knowledgeable and prices reasonable.
