If you want to learn how to work with clay to make tile , coil, or slab art pieces THIS is the place! Marina takes her time teaching you and the attention to details in each step helps you create a piece you will be proud of. You also gain a deep deep understanding of the entire process from design , construction , drying, glazing through to the firing in the kiln where you further learn how the different glazes react…... all the steps it takes in each piece of her work as you make yours. You can see the years and years of experience and time needed in her own pieces as you gain respect in learning the craft. It taught me to slow down, to take time , to have patience , don’t overthink and importantly to relax and have fun.
We worked with Marina on custom art tiles for our kitchen backsplash. Marina was a dream to work with. She helped us nail down a theme for pieces and kept us in the loop throughout the whole design process. Marina did a great job of staying in contact and meeting with us regularly. She provided a test tile of the colors she used so that we could approve before the finished product. The pieces she created for us are stunningly beautiful. We feel honored to feature her work in our home.
What a great way to spend an afternoon. My wife and I had gone as part of our 9th wedding anniversary and we had an excellent time. Marina was such a gracious host yet allowed us to do our own thing. I highly recommend this studio and unlike us, don't wait for a special occasion as it's an occasion in itself. Great fun, reasonable, and located in a nice little neighborhood. Easy 5 stars.
My mom and I had a WONDERFUL time creating stamped pottery in the studio. The owner was so gracious in letting us experiment with different patterns and encourages your natural creativity with her sage advice.
Had an awesome time at Bosetti Art Tile and Pottery taking a class. Great experience and fun, hands on, learning.
