We absolutely LOVE Montessori Children's House. I cannot say enough good things about it. My oldest attended there the year before he started kindergarten, and we fell in love with the school and the Montessori method. He thrived here. The teachers, Janet and Lisa, really know each child personally, meet their individual needs, and help them learn in amazing ways. It's a multi-age environment with children 3 to 5. The older children take on a leadership role and mentor the younger students. It's really special to see it in action. Montessori can sometimes be code for expensive, but their tuition is very fair and reasonable. I think my favorite part is just what a charming, peaceful, joyful school it is! Any child would be lucky to attend here!

Wonderful place and warm hearted environment. My daughter has gained valuable skills and formed many friendships while attending for 2 years. We miss Janet & Lisa dearly and are grateful to them for providing our daughter with such valuable building blocks that she will utilize for the rest of her life.

Both my kids went to this preschool! Hands down best Montessori pre-school around. My kids are now in 3rd and 1st grade but still remember Miss Janet and Miss Lisa. Wonderful teachers, wonderful school. If you are looking for a true Montessori experience for your child this is the school! Can't say enough good things about it! We miss it!

I can not say enough good things about the Montessori Children's House of Wake Forest! I sent my oldest daughter there, and it was such an incredible experience. In just one year, I watched her grow so much academically, socially, and emotionally. She learned so much in all different subjects including basic geography, basic math, and to read and write sentences. But what amazed me the most was how much her confidence grew in just a little over nine months at MCHWF. She went in a shy, timid, uncertain four year old, and came out a confident leader. It really helped prepare her for kindergarten in every single way. After such a wonderful experience, I knew I had to send my youngest there too, and I have not been disappointed. The teachers, Janet and Lisa, are phenomenal. They are kind, caring, and patient. They somehow remember all the little details about each of the children there and their families. You could not ask for better teachers or a better school than Montessori Children's House of Wake Forest!

My child doesn't attend here, but my friend's does and she raves about it all the time, so I thought I'd share. All experiences I've heard from this place are positive. The building is nothing to write home about, it's a small one-story house in historic WF, but do not let that deter you. It should be about education and development, and from what I hear, the best all-around experience you can get your child within a 30 mile radius is right here.
