Skipper's Fish Fry

We've had a few things here that are absolutely awesome, but the fish sandwich is our favorite. The breading is light and the piece of fish is thick and perfectly cooked. Plus it's so big you can fold it in half to make it fit on the bun! Lunch combos are under $10 and you get a ton of food for the price. Right now you can also order online and pick up in the store with little contact.

Wife and I went by the other day planning to pick up and go home to eat. Well we were so impressed , just one other customer, we came at 230 and were pleased to find an empty dining room, the vintage oak tables were spotless, so we decided to eat in.
The clam chowder app was great, I would recommend. I still have yet to try the gumbo.

My wife and I had the baby shrimp platter and it was done just right, the extra crispy fries and slaw that my wife and I differ on. The flavor of the ingredients was great but I thought it was cut way too fine, I like my slaw a little chunky...

Definitely worth the ride for great seafood.

Unmatched quality and seafood selection. Awesome!!! We moved from NC to FL a few years back and were regulars while living in NC. Every time we return to NC, stopping at Skipper’s is always a priority. You would think that living in FL would provide us access to a similar restaurant. Unfortunately we have yet to find one. We keep looking.

Food came out hot, fresh. Delicious. I also liked the vibe here. Not pretentious, just some killer seafood and some beers on tap. Kids behind the counter are polite and work hard. Can't wait to eat in the store next time for an even better experience.

We had Skippers cater our wedding this past weekend. You know the food is good when the entire room gets quiet and you see people getting up for seconds. It was fresh, savory and delicious!! A huge thanks to James who coordinated the dinner and offered us so many options and worked with us in order to deliver a successful meal for our guests. I definitely recommend them. One of my favorite places to eat! Always loved the grilled tacos and certainly love the new BBQ lineup!! Great job guys!!
