WakeMed Primary Care - West Cary

I just went to this WakeMed location yesterday for my first COVID vaccine. I was nervous about going because I have been avoiding going anywhere for the past several months. My visit was a pleasant surprise. When I arrived I saw a notice that stated if you were more than 5 minutes early to go back and wait in your car. So I did. When I did go into the office, everyone was masked and observing social distancing. The chairs in the waiting room were grouped in fours and three of each grouping were taped off so you were never sitting near anyone. Check-in was a breeze since we had the option to check-in from home online, which I did. I only waited maybe 5 minutes before it was my turn. During that time there was a young women wearing gray scrubs who was checking in on everyone and also wiping down empty chairs. The med tech who gave me my injection was lovely. She made me feel comfortable and the injection was painless. And as a side note, we discovered that we shared the same October birthday! She gave me a sticky note with a time on it and explained that I needed to sit in another section of the same lobby for 15 minutes so I could be monitored. The same young woman in gray scrubs came by to see how I was doing and also she offered to schedule my second vaccine. This facility had a very good process and I was impressed. The only thing I found unusual was the fact that when I go to my dentist or doctor, they always take my temp before I can be seen and that did not happen here. Not sure if it matters or not but I only mention it because everyone else does it. Thanks for a good experience.

I have the COVID-19 vaccination appointment 2/9 morning. Staff were so accommodating and polite. The place is clean and nice. I had a very pleasant experience in this place. Those people worked there are angels to me.

Exceptional care provided by Dr. Moore! He takes time to really listen to your concerns and never makes you feel rushed. He has charming bedside manners, making the patient feel relaxed and comfortable.

WakeMed Primary Care - West Cary in my opinion and experience, is the best! I get the best care and advice for my health. I don't feel rushed to get in and out of my visits. The doctors listen and respond to me with caring compassion. I can always count on them during my appointments and afterwards through the Wakemed MyChart online patient portal, through email exchanges, test results, appointments, health history, and so on. I can always count on maintaining a good relationship with my doctor(s) at this PCP practice during an appointment and all other times. I finally found a professional practice who cares for me beyond my appointments! Thank you for being there for me always!

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Moore and his team. They are responsive and quick to communicate results from tests. They have taken great care of me as a new patient and I look forward to having them as my primary care physician for many years!
