“Serene, beautiful and a rare boating experience that is almost entirely under a canopy of trees. If you must speak, keep your voice low for the best wildlife viewing experiences. There are currently no boats to rent at this park. For now, all paddlers BYOB. (B for boat, NOT beer.) A short trail marked with 73 buoys, you should use a leisurely pace for optimal enjoyment. You can pack your snacks and water very lightly.”

“The son was next door to fix the fence on a rental property and I went over and asked him if he could look at a section of mine that needed repairing. He was very respectful and polite and looked at my fence. He quoted me a price that was unbelievable and fixed my fence the same day. He even left me the screws to go back and attach the slats that needed to be reattached once the cement was set on the post repair. He instructed me on how to remove the brace supporting the post once the cement had set and ways to improve my fence with the screws instead of the nails that Seegars Fence (a large fencing company in Raleigh who had installed the fence for us and had only used nails for securing the custom fence. The fence cost us over $5,000 and you would think that a large fence company would have done it right the first time). We are extremely happy with the results of the job performed and are going to call them to give us an estimate for an interior job.”
