“My experience went very well. Bought a Walmart battery at another store, went to the Chapel Hill Auto Center to do the free installation. The person checking me in was courteous and efficient. The job was completed quickly, and I received timely text messages on my phone that the work had begun and when it was completed. Notably the presets on my radio were not lost, so they performed the battery swap properly, unlike other auto parts places where I've had car batteries replaced. “Our family was traveling a long distance and broke down on a Saturday early morning. We found Cox Auto repair and Lloyd answered our call at 6am! He helped us get back to his shop, diagnosed the problem and helped to find someone else to help us since he didn’t have the part needed to have it fixed that day. Lloyd was like a guardian angel to us- he was kind and trustworthy. We had 2 kids and a dog in tow and he helped us to feel comfortable and safe. “I work with the daughter of the owner of this business and she told me of her fathers shop. So I went to visit and he was very kind and knowledgeable about my 2005 VW Jetta and offered the best price ever for repairs. They replaced the water pump, belts and pulleys as well as gave her an oil change and when I say they fixed it fast, I mean they fixed it FAST! Took it in on Saturday and they were done on Sunday! I'm going to be a loyal customer to this business until the very end from everything to oil changes to inspections from here on out. Thomas, Chan and the other gentleman (I didn't catch his name) were all professional and friendly. I love how there were no crowds of people around either. Made the whole experience very personal and involved. As another reviewer stated, the GPS will make you miss the turn into the driveway at first. Just look for the white sign with the red letters and all the cars that are parked near the driveway and that is your entrance. I will definitely be coming back for sure. You won't be disappointed!”
