“Youngsville Baptist Church is a wonderful, friendly, family oriented, small-town Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Church. Rev. Chuck Stratton delivers a deep, philosophical sermon each Sunday, and the adult choir sings angelically! The pianist and organist play simultaneously, filling the church with beautiful music. YBC has programs for every age--children, adults, and seniors. Their Wednesday night suppers are a delicious and fun-filled time of fellowship followed by an interesting bible study, and then, choir practice to top off the evening. They have a Tuesday night supper club that goes to various local restaurants for dinner together. The children and youth enjoy going bowling together plus many fun activities. YBC offers a variety of programs and community involvement. When you come visit, you will be warmly greeted by every member of the church! There are plenty of opportunities to participate and grow with this church that is located in the up-and-coming town of Youngsville, NC. Definitely not a mega-church--thank goodness!”

My Mother parents were instrumental in getting the Church of Christ started in Asheboro NC, they started out with services in their family home until they reached a time they could build the building that houses the Church now. “We were in Corolla for the past two weeks and because we love worship we immediately sought out a house of God. Corolla chapel was close by and easy to find so we went there on Sunday morning. The preaching was great! They teach the word of God like it is! The fellowship was amazing! Yes, you can sneak in and easily sneak out but we attended the fellowship coffee and snacks after the service and felt very welcomed. Candy the pastor’s wife is a real authentic genuine Christian that shines! We attended their international student ministry weekly dinner and then their Thursday morning Bible study! In the few days we were there we felt very connected and wished we lived there all year around. The pastor and wife as well as the church members are truly a family anyone can easily become a part of because they all shine the light of Christ each in their own special way! “Today I took my two dogs and toddler for a walk at Park Rd. park today and stumbled upon this church having an outdoor service. We dropped by for a moment to listen to the music with the intention of leaving in a few minutes, but ended up staying for the whole service. You can tell a lot about a church from its congregation. While watching the service I probably had at least ten people approach me and introduce themselves and asked if needed a chair or wanted a water to drink. Multiple people invited me to hang out with them after the service and have lunch! This community of people was so incredibly warm and inviting and it was just great to witness people reaching out to a TOTAL STRANGER with kindness. You grow your influence that way! This random encounter with this church left an amazing impression on me personally, and I wish nothing but the best things for this community going forward and hope to swing by an indoor service in the future!!”

“Covenant was a huge blessing to us when we lived in Reidsville, NC and were looking for a church. The Lord used Pastor John’s teachings to convict me of sin I had never before recognized in myself as well as the forgiveness I receive in Christ. There are a lot of mentions in reviews about the lead pastor’s twitter activity. I cannot speak to that as I am not on twitter. However, we were welcomed to the church with open arms, respect, and kindness. Pastor John was passionate about Scripture and faithfully preached truth to his congregation every week. Although we have relocated and are unable to attend Covenant anymore, I am frequently reminded of the work God has done in me through this church and Pastor John’s teachings.”
