One staff member, Jimmy, who works in radiology, went above and beyond the call of duty, and my husband and I would like to give special acknowledgement for his kindness and extraordinary effort on our behalf. My husband is an insulin dependent diabetic who had been by my side for hours as I was being diagnosed and treated for what had originally been diagnosed as gastroenteritis at another urgent care facility. We were referred to WakeMed for further examination. Because we are vegetarians, Jimmy went out of his way to get my husband some food in order to prevent him from having a low blood sugar episode. Thank you so very much, Jimmy, we were so grateful for your help at a very difficult time.”

“We came in at the latest as the website is incorrect. The Sunday morning service begins at 10 am. There is a small parking lot in the back and a great playground across the street. We missed the scripture reading prior to the sermon but quickly understood where we were. The Pastor's sermon was excellent. He is very charismatic in delivery.
