Sensei Williams is a great teacher, working very hard to make sure that his students learn technique and character moreso than merely advancing through belts. Sensei wants to make sure that his students are prepared for life situations that are thrown at them. He makes sure that we understand how each movement can be used in a combat situation, where necessary. He works to ensure that students maintain focus in his classroom and in life, and also stresses physical toughness and fitness. Sensei is also supported by a number of black belts who helped students learn katas and proper form, and sensei encourages an environment we're higher belts should always help the lower belts learn. It is truly an investment for life, and I am glad that I entrusting my kids and myself here.”

My only problem is I got a drink from the fountain, lemonade, I was in a rush so I poured and left but taking a sip of my drink it tastes like its a mix with sugar and pickle juice not lemonade.”

“My wife and I have been going to Hartley Drive Family YMCA for over 6 years with the exception of taking a hiatus during the first wave of Covid. I've never experienced a problem with any of the Staff or any part of their facility. Sometimes parts of the facility are under construction or down for maintenance which is just part of keeping the place upgraded. I have NOTICE IF a part of the Facility is going to be closed IT is Posted a week or so in advance on the front door or the door leading into the interior of the facility. I've always been greeted in a friendly manner with a hello or smile by the staff. I don't go there to become personally involved with other members or the Staff, I go there to work-out and then leave. This is why I have no complaints about this Location, The children get loud sometimes but, They are children. I believe the amount of money we spend to be members is more than Fair considering all that this location offers it's members. If a part of this location has an area shut down due to maintenance I myself fully understand and move on and do something else, I don't complain about it because the Staff is not the ones who makes the decision to shut down areas for maintenance that would be their head-office. So, Thank you to the staff and Y.M.C.A”
