“This is in response to the negative comment as a regular YMCA member for years. The facility is nice and the employees are friendly. Every now and then some members seem to fill entitled to insist on rules that don’t meet the needs of all YMCA members, for example the pool temperature in the indoor pool should be set a temperature to allow for those swimming to not get overheated. The facility is clean, yet some members seem to want special privileges to sanitize locker rooms in a way that one may sanitize their home. I recommend those members considering building a pool at their home and a gym facility. Specifically I appreciate how the YMCA values ensuring that young children are learning to swim, which is a life skill that everyone needs to have, even if that means that the pool area has to be shared. Thanks for being awesome! We love the YMCA!”

“We toured many facilities but Dad chose this one . Studio and one bedroom we didn’t think the studios would be big enough, but since he’s never in it because there’s so much to do it is just fine!! You can Catch people gazing at Eclipse or Bingo… Loves the Restaurant style cafe With at least three choices of entrées every meal He’s been there five weeks and has friends already. With doctors on site the ability to choose whether or not nurses bring his medication or not…well is peace of mind! It was really hard for my dad to put his medication in the little pill bottles so it’s really important for this task to be done for him! He is so relieved he chose to have them bring to him . It is so nice as the walk-in shower there too He feels safe And the experience with on boarding was wonderful. The staff really helped our family get through the paperwork process . It was not easy Only one sibling lives near Dad so it is imperative That communication keeps up! Doctors on staff and attentive nurses . Reception too! Thanks you to the Oak Hill team and Illinois sis . So far so wonderful! Wish I could attend the BBQ Next month !”
