“Dr. Kulits has been my Ophthalmologist since 2021. I chose him when my Ophthalmologist retired during Covid. I was told I had to go to a practice in Winston-Salem. He is the only local Ophthalmologist residing and practicing in Stokes and Surry Counties. He does my Diabetic & Comprehensive Medical Eye Exam each year, testing for Cataracts, Glaucoma and everything Diabetics should be aware of. He has advised me how to improve my blood sugar control and protect my eyesight with proper nutrition from regular foods. He’s helped me with dry eyes, and puffiness of my eyelids. He is always considerate and kind to me and I’ve heard him interact the same way with patients 40 years younger than me and 20 years older than me. Yes, he does take our insurance. Yes, every procedure is done here in King. This is my 3rd year seeing him with no change needed to my prescriptions. I’m thankful for Dr. Kulits and his practice here in King.”

I’ve seen 5+ therapists and nobody has truly helped me like Diana has. I have lost a substantial amount of weight over the years and continued to be very unhappy with myself. She took time with me and I felt like for the first time ever someone actually listened to me and cared what I thought. She made me realize that every mark, scar, stretch mark, etc on your body is a memory. It means you’re living and it shows all of your wonderful memories. It was a wake up call having that conversation with her and I hope she knows she has impacted me and my thinking substantially. I will continue to see her for many years to come.
