“Been here for almost four years and the staff, the booster clubs, pta and most of the students are cool. Just wish the grounds and the facilities were better maintained. Some of landscaping, paint and furnishings seriously need attention and the bleachers do to. I would love to see the front entrance power washed and repainted and some new benches. Also all the picnic tables replaced. But I'm so proud to be graduating for the first high school of Cary. I have appreciated my teachers and the opportunities to participate in the arts, music and sports programs. Thank you!”

“Leaping Froggy Home Daycare has become a special place in our family's heart. My daughter is so very happy there. She is given opportunities to discover, learn, and play. Both the indoor and outdoor learning areas are wonderful. The outdoor area feels like a park and there are so many things to explore. The indoor area is set up like a quality childcare center. There Is even an indoor gross motor area! We are so glad we found this gem. The teachers make our family feel like their own.”

“Duke School is an inclusive, inspiring environment to teach, challenge, and guide your children from preschool through eighth grade. We have had children there since 2015. Our oldest is now in public high school and constantly says that he is excelling and prepared because of “that good Duke School model of reflect and share.” Some parents may wonder about the lack of grades or calling teachers by their first names. Trust the process - it creates learners who feel valued and engaged. And our teachers are respected as experts and trusted for their insight and knowledge of child development. We have also benefited from financial assistance with their Index Tuition. We are forever grateful for a place like Duke School to help us raise confident, compassionate and resilient kids.”

“This is my son's school. He'll start 4th grade this year. This is a great school with a very caring staff. All of his teachers since kindergarten have been wonderful and have gone far beyond what is required of them to make sure he's successful. Everyone I've encountered at his school has been friendly and welcoming. From the different people who open the door of our car and greet us in the mornings to the lunch staff , school nurse even the traffic guard. This is a wonderful school with great people.”

“My child currently goes here and he seems to really like his daycare teaches a lot, and they seem to really like him too, I just wish I could get him transferred to a closer location that's near my home or if it was a little bit of an easier process. It's just as a single mom it's hard to come up with gas to drive that far sometimes every single dayyyyyyyy... pleasaseee lol but the Webb rd one has been great to my kid so far.”

“I myself attended this school from kindergarten to 5th grade. I loved the school and the teachers in it, im a high schooler now in the 10th grade. In my personal option out of the all the schools I’ve been to so far knightdale elementary school is still going to be my favorite. I felt open and I had teachers I could turn too, and they helped me so much throughout my 6 years being there. I love and miss this school. And right now I have a little brother who attends this school who is in the 1st grade and is loving every minute of it. I do recommend this school”

“The staff, adminstrators and children are EXCELLENT!!!! My PRAYER for Sumner Elementary is for this school to get BLESSED with an OVERDUE MAKEOVER!!!!! hint hint Guilford County School Administration and Board. Even though this school still has the original everything as for as the building structure and is in desperate need of UPGRADES; the staff, students and administration are not complaining or making excuses, they have PRIDE and RESPECT for their school as well as each other!!!! They deserve to have the type of facility, books and etc. as other Guilford County Schools. The students are very respectful and high achievers. #team Sumner”

“Overall I loved the school! Great staff and members, I was always given help if I was in need of it on work. The administration was always there and are always helping every one of those students there! I love the school because they are friendly to everyone that goes in and out of the office. I graduated from Apprentice Academy and I love it up to this point. I highly recommend Apprentice Academy if you are wanting your child to have more time to work on stuff and given the help they need to become more successful!”
