“This is a Hidden Gem. I have lived here for 55 years and did not know about it. It gives a great historical perspective of life in North Carolina from 1800 to the present time. It's free but they ask for a donation which after seeing how well maintained it is and the knowledge of the tour guide, you have no problem donating. This is one of the best non-profit organizations I have seen relating to the history of North Carolina. It would be great for kids to give them an understanding of the history of this area of North Carolina.”

Pinto beans with raw onions were awesome. Finished it off with vanilla pudding. They don’t have a website - so you have to just go in. Totally worth it!”
