He patiently listened to my job request, helped me understand why a DIY wasn't the best choice for me, and he took on my job that was too small for other companies. He quickly scheduled an at-home estimate on a holiday week and got me on the books within my desired timeframe. His communication was excellent, and he delivered on the expectations that he set. I built a home with Ryan Home two years ago, and I only recently discovered that one of the downspouts on my house was being overwhelmed during torrential rain. I contacted the builder about the issue. They informed me that I was outside of my 1-year warranty window with them and they would not be able to make the necessary repair. They did tell me 31-W Insulation was the contractor that performed the gutter and downspout work. I sent them a message through their online website, but I did not have much hope due to my experience with the builder and other contractors. I was pleasantly surprised. I was contacted less than 24 hours after I submitted my issue through their website. The manager, Joe Bridge, called me on the phone and we talked through the issue I was encountering and what could be done to mitigate the issue. After a short discussion, Joe informed me the best way to relieve the overwhelmed downspout was to add another downspout on the other end of the gutter and re-pitch the gutter to flow half the water to the new downspout. The 31-W Insulation crew came out to my house the next day and within 20 minutes the gutter was re-pitched and the new downspout installed... free of charge! 31-W Insulation does great work and will do everything they can to stand by their work... even if it's a downspout issue that happens so infrequently it took me over two years to notice it.
