I had not heard of this before visiting Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum. I guess that was the museum part. (head slap) Anyway. we went up to the building and was greeted by the curator. He lead us to the right and there was an area of ancient pieces from Roman, Greek, Egyptian, and other areas. You can get pretty close to them BUT don't touch. The curator was very informative and helpful. We crossed the hall and there was a very unusual exhibit, The 7th Hole Religion of Craftowne. A little far out man. Caution if you have younger kids with you for that one. That exhibit is there until Aug 20th.
Very impressed with museum and 300 acres grounds with sculptures. Have a 1.5 mile drivable circuit to see sculptures also rent golf carts that can go other paths. Also have hiking trails. Plan to go back and walk trails in woods.
My first time there. Such absolutely amazing pieces of display, I was impressed!
This gorgeous park of rolling hills with mostly modern art sculptures is well maintained, spaciously laid out, has landings with panoramic views, and is a wonderful, quiet retreat so close to Cincinnati and Dayton.
I think we're very lucky to have this place in the Greater Cincinnati area. Nice combination of art and nature.
