I love my new floors. Thank Melissa and Roy. Schumacher installed solid oak hardwood floors with an on-site finish in my condo in downtown Cincinnati. I'd highly recommend.
Mellissa and her team were amazing! From the initial estimate to completing the job, the entire team was professional and had great attention to detail for my home floor refinishing project. My 1980’s light honey oak were transformed to a warm darker stain with minimal dust. They were very nice and always able to accommodate my changing home renovation schedule. Highly recommend!!
Great experience with Schumacher wood floors. They replaced water damaged flooring in several areas and it's hard to tell new flooring from the old. It's almost a perfect match. We were a little suspect when they ask for 50% down payment before work started but there were no issues past that. From Roy the salesperson to Paul the installer all work was professional and exceeded our expectations. We'll look to Schumacher for any future flooring purchases.
This is in response to the review posted by Russ G. Schumacher & Co. has just been made aware of your comments, and we are not sure we remember your inquiry. But as a general rule, we try to avoid the liability of giving step-by-step instructions to someone who is finishing his own floors when we will have no control over the quality of work and, therefore, cannot guarantee a good outcome. Also, due to the labor-intensive nature of the work as well as the specialized equipment and training needed, there is a safety concern for recommending processes that could lead to injury for untrained people.
In addition, our schedules are booked out months in advance, and our managers are busy supervising the work crews they do control to guarantee a good outcome. So while we always try to give helpful advice, we are not able to maintain a DIY help line. We are sorry that you were unhappy with your experience.
