  The journey is worth it! I have been seeing Dr. Hegyi for the past three years. I came to him and his office after many years of trying various dentists and evaluations for sporadic TMJ jaw pain. Dr. Hegyi and his staff were so patient and kind with me! They were up front about the treatment plan, what it entailed, what we would learn and the cost. I was able to get the appointments I needed during the times requested. Dr. Hegyi was patient and listened to my concerns when I shared my history and that I wanted to be as conservative as possible with treatment. I am so thankful that I found him and his staff - my pain has subsided and I consider the treatment successful after many years of frustration. I cannot thank Dr. Hegyi and his staff enough, and would refer anyone to him in a heartbeat.

  Karl is BRILLIANT! Not only in his understanding of the biomechanics of the Temporomandibular joint but in his approach to treating joint dysfunction. i should be so blessed to have helped as many people in my career as he has in his. He has been on staff at the prestigious Dawson Center and provided in depth, literature supported continuing education for legions of dentists. He often treats the most difficult of cases that others don't have the knowledge or wherewithal to treat themselves. These are often the most debilitated and stand the least chance of success. I, and my patients have benefited greatly from his expertise.

  Amazing Doctor. If you have jaw pain, or teeth that seem "off" or have lost their sense of "home"/ normality, he is your man. Ethical, educated beyond others in the field. You can rest assured you are getting the best care possible with honesty, care, and transparency that others in the field simply do not compare to. His staff is caring and considerate, taking into account psychosocial elements to your situation and treatment plan. Rest assured that when there seems no solution, he has one, he is your man!

  Dr. Hegyi has been overseeing my care for TMJ for several years. I came to him initially because no other doctor could help me with my severe jaw pain and headaches upon waking every morning. I was miserable. He was very thorough and took the time to listen to my concerns. He was persistent in trying to find the best treatment plan for me and did not rest until I was finally pain free. He is very kind and you can tell that he truly cares about each of his patients and their overall well being. I would highly recommend him to anyone struggling with severe TMJ complications.
