Bertram Woods Branch Library - Shaker Heights

My family has been attending Desert Breeze Community Church for years. Wonderful worship, amazing Biblical teachings. My daughter loves going to “Church School”. Desert Breeze Community Church is just so wonderful.

This is my church home and firm teaching on the truths God has given us in his word. We are a friendly church but I'm an extrovert so to the introverts you need to take a step of faith and say hello. We have many classes to help with the difficulties of todays world with biblical insight and genuine Love and affections. Please come visit us and make sure to look me up🤗

I have been attending DBCC my whole life, thats about 30 years. I love my church family. I mostly love our atmosphere. Its casual and very welcoming. Every service our pastor asks us to greet the people next to you. He really cares about everyone attending whether you are new or been there for years. Also, he welcomes anyone wanting to speak with him or ask questions after every service.

Covid protocols in place. Very welcoming staff. Very happy to be back to in person visits.

Fabulous library! They can get just about any resoure I want.

DBCC has been my home for 11 years. Pastor Ray's teaching is so encouraging, enlightening and convicting! They offer many classes, bible studies and even prayer nights. I'm SO thankful for my church family!!

So far not to thrilled with the welcoming! No one helped direct in anything, there is a process to order a coffee, which makes me feel like I'm at a Starbucks. And I have gotten a better welcome from Starbucks then I have here. I finally stopped one man and asked him, "is it always kind of click like?" and nobody really notices one waking around aimlessly. I'm an introvert and to go out seeking a church family alone is scary! They just started the worship band, again no welcome! I've been to many churches and when worship starts someone always greets the church with something like "hello church, how's we everyone, praise God!" Not here. I'm staying to hear the message, which is the most important! There's a lot of literature for the church and all they have going on. Good music! Good prayer, warming up! AHH the bible, NOW were talking! Sermon is very good! Pastor Ray is fun and funny, makes the service comfortable, interesting, and knowledgeable!

Great smaller branch with helpful librarians.
