I am a very enthusiastic fan of Heartfulness Meditation, and the wonderful and supportive community of people at the Cleveland Heartfulness Meditation Center. While Heartfulness is often talked about in the context of lowering blood pressure, alleviating things like depression and anxiety, and giving one calmness and peace, I also find there is a very strong and substantial spiritual component to the practice that quite honestly gives my life a lot of meaning and joy. Also, Heartfulness is *free.* It does not cost any money to learn the practice, do the practice, etc. And this makes sense to me - I work as a librarian, and do feel, to invoke the cliche, that "the best things in life are free." Also, the people at the Heartfulness are always encouraging, warm, and welcoming. I recommend this Meditation Center with great enthusiasm, appreciation and gratitude.
I've been practicing Heartfulness Meditation for over 20 years and I've been profoundly changed by it. I would recommend it to anyone.
Wonderful support for a personal meditation practice alongside rich and blissful group meditations. If you are truly seeking, this local center, that is part of an international organization, is most hospitable and offers a sincere system of spirituality. All services are free, which to me says everything about the method’s integrity.
This is a pretty decent place for meditation. One thing to be careful of is when people who come in sick. The best advice that I received growing up is if one is sick and thinks they are contagious, is to stay home. Meditation can still be done at home for the weeks that someone is out due to the fact that they are sick. If you think you are contagious, it is better that one stays home and rests instead of going out with chances of spreading sickness to others and it does not help the person who is sick either.
Great place. Lots of support for learning meditation. All instructions and sessions are free! Everyone very welcoming. I meditate here and love it!
