“My eye exam was fairly quick although it seemed like Dr. Li just did not want to raise the chair at first so I could see the letter chart correctly. Maybe because she's very short but you can't have people down to low or else they'll have to look up when you're supposed to look straight ahead. Other than that things were smooth. I was able to find some decent frames that my insurance would cover. Not my favorite color but I can see, so it is what it is (I've stuck with black for years until now). My new glasses came back within a week or so for pick up, which is not bad at all. Always call to see when they're open, they sometimes tell you something different than what's listed here.”

“Outrageously good. I had never been through this part of town, but needed to run an errand after going to Memphis Kiddie Park, passed this shop, and stopped on a whim. Most of the other customers were picking up orders placed in advance, but Mertie (who was extremely friendly and welcoming) said she happened to make extras that morning. Luckily I happened to have cash, and made off with a cherry and apple strudel. Everything is made by hand. Will be visiting again the next time I'm in town.”
