Si-gung teaches kung fu for self-defense, stressing it's always the last resort yet giving the kids the tools to handle themselves if they ever find they are in a bad position. I have seen my kid's confidence levels and self-esteem grow as they have progressed in this martial art. The owner Daryl was extremely accommodating and took orders ahead of time before arriving to help food and drink service go quickly. Our party absolutely Loved everything about this place from the food and drinks to the kind staff and Christmas vibe. I know Friday nights can be very busy yet every single staff member was wonderful with our large group! Personally I loved the Run Rudolph Run cocktail and the White Christmas drink was so festive with the lights. Absolutely a fantastic 1st time for us all and will for sure go back!”

“So, I'm an atheist. I give my mother 2 days a year to bring me to church. It is usually Mother's Day and Christmas Eve. This year, she chose Pleasant Hills. It was a slow service, and there was a lot of sitting and standing. You could tell that the people there were committed, though. The people behind us looked angry with us for just being there. While I'm an atheist, I am never rude. I respect people's right to religion. Otherwise the people were very, very nice. Maybe another instrument for the songs would liven it up? But hey, if they enjoy it the way it is, that's great! I wish them all the best.”
