Alum Creek Camp Office

I enjoy these campsites. The girls behind the counter were friendly and accommodating, but we came on a Wednesday afternoon - we were the only people around.

The sites themselves were small, but separated by trees.

Bathrooms were dirty - please continue to clean them up even in the middle of the week.

Midweek, the campground was relatively quiet and just what we needed.

We have been coming to this campground for several years. We love the spacious and wooded sites. The people at the office are always friendly and eager to help. Plenty of activities including campers beach, dog park, and a great lake. The downside to our visit is for the past several years the shower houses are pretty neglected and need of a good cleaning. We rarely see a cleaning person and they are all in a nutshell pretty run down. They didn't use to be like this but for past few years have become pretty dirty. We would like to see the cleaning improved otherwise we really enjoy ourselves there!

First time camping and first time at Alum. Very nice camping, trees between each RV/campsite for adequate privacy. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Showers are adequate. Park is beautiful, nice for boating and watersports on the lake. 2 hr bike ride around lake is pleasant, I didn't try the wooded bike trails but saw many avid bikers go into them. Beautiful and spacious beach. Private beach for the campers was much smaller but still good. My brother has dogs and loves the dog park. A nice place to get away!
