Despite living out-of-state for quite some time, I have had the privilege of knowing Pastor Al, his family, and the church for many years. However, I recently moved back to Delaware, Ohio and it was as though I had never left. The pastor and congregation are genuinely caring people and treat one another like family. Attending Compassion Christian Church has made an immensely postivie impact on my life, and has helped guide me along my spiritual path!
I started coming to Compassion in July 2019 and have always look forward to next weeks services.Have known Pastor Al since my grandson went to the Kindergarten at the Delaware Academy,but when I got a flyer inviting me to visit and I was welcomed and felt right at home.Love the Praise and worship team.study in Gods word every week.great place and great people to worship with.
Compassion is a church made up of Godly people, that are very caring and love each other like family. The staff and volunteers are always willing to serve the community, in whatever compasity necessary. Pastor Al’s messages are always spot on, and straight from God’s word. He and his wife Michelle are devoted to serving God. As well as leading the church with a close knit atmosphere. Blessed to be part of such a wonderful church.
I have been a member since its beginnings in April 2016. I have known Pastor Al since 2014. The church is founded on the principal of serving in the same capacity as Jesus did when He walked the earth: love unconditionally. Our Pastor teaches strictly from the Word as it is written by the Triune God: ABBA Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Pastor AL teaches in simplified terms that break the Word down to every day practical application. We engage the community in different ways that leave a lasting impact on people's lives through community outreach in Delaware, OH. We have excellent youth leaders who teach our children. The teens are engaged in community outreach, and they will be taking their first foreign missionary trip in 2020 to El Salvador. We are a small but growing church who serve compassionately to be the light of glory that shines in Delaware, OH.
God is in this house! Great place to worship, loving family of believers and super friendly and relaxed environment! Not your stuffy parents church!
