  A great park including part of our history. There are 3 locks, a shelter house with several picnic tables, a covered bridge and about 12 parking spots. There are no restrooms.

  I've been coming here since I was a child. Still as beautiful as ever. Not sure when the covered bridge was added. Only bad thing is there's no restroom or port-a-pot to use while visiting.

  Our Great Grandmother operated the locks when they were open. We would play in the locks all the way to the other side of town. Local kids would gather to play ball here in the park. Good memories!

  Lockville Park is a nice park for a walk around the 3 locks. There is also a covered bridge that you can walk across. The covered bridge can also be reserved for a party or something. A shelter house with tables is there. But no restrooms or water fountains.
  Two of the locks are in very good condition. You can just imagine the boats going through, and loading and unloading people and supplies.
  The middle lock needs repairs. I hope someone with the training and money can come to the rescue of our historical past. It is a part of who we are and where we came from.
