We had to make the very difficult decision to let our 27 year old Friesian mare go due to severe rotation of a coffin bone. Dr. McPherson graciously advised on some strategies for comfort for her until all the necessary preparations could be made. She and Jennifer were kind and caring and the procedure was gentle and seamless…the same way, as a small animal veterinarian, that I want things to be for my canine and feline patients. I am forever grateful for her caring and professionalism performing a task we all despise.

My horse has lameness issues. I needed to find a vet that could do X-rays on a horse at a farm call as my normal vet cannot. Dr McPhearson is amazing. She did a physical exam and did recommend imaging. Quickly diagnosed my horse and recommended treatment. Now it’s a matter of time to see how it goes. She gave me options and explained all my choices going forward. Would recommend to anyone not only as a general practice vet but especially for issues with lameness. Even if we can’t completely “fix” my horse, I’m confident Dr McPhearson will have exhausted all realistic options
