Great bloody Mary's and great food. See you when you open again soon
Great place! Modern decor, great view from the bar and the staff are excellent. We had a guest arrive late but the host had his dish out as soon as he arrived. Exceptional. Food is great and the drink menu is spot on. Recommended.
Food was delicious and staff was friendly from beginning to end! Our two toddlers got the chicken tenders and fries and my boys loved the chicken tenders - they were seasoned and cooked perfectly! I had the Baked Trout - Crab stufffed baked trout with risotto & fresh vegetables, it was huge and delicious! I took home the leftovers! My husband got the Madeline's Spaghetti & Meatballs and was happy with it! Definitely recommend the peach martini, it was amazing!
Really great food with great prices! We went for lunch and everything was of great quality. We talked with Matt and he mentioned they don't even have a freezer and it definitely shows. I had the Po Boy a few people got the French dip and one person got the burger and we had no complaints. Looking forward to going back for dinner! I'd recommend getting reservations in the evening as it's kind of smaller and it was pretty full even for lunch. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
Stopped by for lunch during restaurant week, Wow! This place checked all the right boxes, great food, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and relaxed atmosphere that weither your in jeans or a suit you'll feel comfortable.
Drinks: I ordered a side car from the cocktail menu, it was made and presented perfectly and I'm always happy to see a restaurant using local (Watershed in this case) liquors. My wife ordered a dirty martini (not on their cocktail menu) and was asked about the type of olive (clue cheese stuffed!) and if she preferred gin or vodka. Great service!
Food: This is what drew us here for restaurant week - $25 for a starter, main, and dessert. You've got to try the ribs, full rack of St Louis style that's cooked and then grilled until the meat is falling off the bone. Even outside of restaurant week you can grab them on a Monday for only $14, which has got to be one of the best deals in the city.
We also ordered some delicious crab cakes (also on the large side!) and finished up with a very good chocolate moose pie and a delicious and not overly tart key lime pie.
Matt and Tony's is new enough (opened in September 2019) that you might not have checked it out yet. If you haven't you should, I can't it'll stay under the radar of the Columbus food scene for long!
Its signature dinner specials range from barbecued ribs to grilled chicken rigatoni Florentine to a prime rib French dip. The dessert tray features "giant" chocolate-chocolate cake and key lime pie. Matt and Tony's Wood Fired Kitchen has garnered an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5-star rating...
Land Grant, Seventh Son, and Columbus Brewing Co Cans or Drafts - $4. Soulshine Tavern & Kitchen. 5036 Cloudberry Pass. etc that confidence will grow over time," said Matt Rootes, owner of Pat and Gracie's Downtown, Matt and Tony's Wood Fired Kitchen, Matt and Tony's at Home.
