  The building itself is very much a no-frills basic little restaurant, but it was clean and welcoming. This was our first experience with Somali food; we expected it to be similar to Ethiopian, but the dishes we tried were not at all like the Ethiopian foods we've had. The service was friendly and helpful, and the server brought an appetizer of soup before we ordered

  Delicious food!! They seemed surprised we came in to eat, and it was our first time trying Somali food. But they were very accommodating and helped us try a lot of different things! Portions are large and the extras (juice, salad, soup, bananas) were awesome. We got the goat kebabs, beef tips, and chicken kaykay. All were yummy! Will definitely be back!

  I personally loved this little place. I'm totally unfamiliar with Somalian food and I loved it. I got the beef kaykay. I love that they serve each meal with a banana.
