  I've been playing on and off, mostly off, for 30 years and had hit a wall in my progression. I started at Osterloh Guitar Academy one month ago because I wanted to learn more than just how to play a song, I wanted to learn the what's and why's. I've learned more in one month than I have in the past 30 years. Travis has an instructional plan that builds on the prior lessons yet keeps the lessons fresh. You will work hard during the lesson but it pays off for practice during the week.

  My son and I took lessons with Travis for about a month. My son’s schedule is very tight and it got to be too challenging to make time for lessons and practice in between. Guitar is something I gave up about 30 years ago as a teenager because it got too hard. When it started to happen again, Travis was extremely patient with me and refused to let me throw in the towel until I got it. I used to joke that he must pour himself a big stiff drink every time we left, lol! You can tell Travis really loves playing the guitar and loves teaching and sharing his love of guitar with others. I hated to quit, because my son was showing promise. We will definitely pick up again where we left off if his schedule lightens.

  I’ve been working with Travis for a little over four months and I have really enjoyed it. If you are self taught and are stalling out with your progression, I would definitely recommend working with Travis. He utilizes a geometric learning technique so no lesson is ever the same, but they all bleed into each other. I think I’ve tremendously improved over the last four months and am very grateful!

  Travis has been working with me now for 1month and within this short time he has helped me tremendously with learning how to play and understand the guitar. I was impressed with his knowledge, patience and teaching skills. while working with me he has made learning the guitar fun for me. I’m satisfied with the results I’m getting from his lessons. I’m excited to see my overall outcome. If you want someone who will actually take the time out to explain and make you comfortable and excited about learning then I recommend you come here.   I have been working with Travis for 2 months now, and there has been a substantial improvement in my guitar playing in that time period. Travis has a clearly defined lesson for me each session that pushes my guitar skills each time. He has been great helping me work towards my music goals. thank you!
