“Called 5 mins to closing looking for parts availability,Matt was more than helpful and did not rush our call. Went next day, Eric met us at the door to cart our pump to the counter. He had Larry come to the desk to answer some questions I had. Larry had the parts installed the seals and rings in matter of few short mins. He noticed a couple small items I had forgotten and offered to take care of them. His watchful eye save me from destroying my pump. Larry,Eric, and Matt are very helpful and customer oriented. When we were ready to go Eric carried our items out to the truck for us. CDS's front desk is second to none”

“Dr Luca is amazing! I hate going to the derm for my yearly check...due to family history it is always very emotional for me and she is so kind and patient. She is extremely Thorough which is great but can be a little awkward but she is so great about putting you at ease. I did see other reviews that talked about wait times....my very first appointment she did let me know that she works with a lot of cancer patients and those appointments can take time. I personally schedule my time knowing I may have a wait and knowing I most certainly would not want her rushing through her appointment with me. To me the trade off of a possible wait to see a doctor doctor that isn’t just rushing to get to the next patient is well worth it!”

“It is a hard and stressful decision to make to place a loved one in assisted living. After long consideration with my mom’s input and looking at multiple facilities, we made the decision to move her into The Avalon of New Albany. At our first meeting, we all knew that this place was going to carefully take care of our mom! It was and has become very obvious that the kind and helpful staff would make my mom comfortable, safe, and appreciated. Although it has been a big adjustment for her, she has settled in with 3 wonderful meals a day and is surrounded by a staff that truly cares about her well being and happiness. The comfort and security that this has given my brother and I is truly immeasurable. A weight has been lifted from our shoulders! A sincere thanks to everyone in this facility who is providing the full scope of care, interest, and kindness to our mom who deserves only the very best!”

“The home nurses are incredible!! Very caring and my nurse is so thorough! However, I'm not impressed with the home aide. There's a 5 page front and back list of things, documented from my case manager that needs done daily and weekly. And she's skipping out on stuff. I feel she should know what to do and should have gotten a list of requirements and work accordingly. I have yet to see a physical therapist and it's been ordered 3 times or more. My housemate has Altimate also and is seeing a PT right now and his case was opened just last week.. On the website it says they provide respiratory therapy. I have had lung problems for years but especially this winter. No therapy has been suggested. All in all I think they will provide good care. There's mis-communication and sort of "passing the buck" if you know what that means. Again home nursing is excellent.”

“Van Scoy saved my hair. Prior to finding Van Scoy, I paid tens of thousands of dollars on two bad hair replacement procedure. “I have been seeing dr. bline for the last almost 8 years and every appointment that was canceled was because she was sick and or had to have a surgery and then had to recover. Yes sometimes that could get old but I for the past 8 years have been told by my parents to fire her and guess what I won't because I understand that she is also basically in charge of her brother who has autism back in Alaska. She is the BEST and after years of suffering through other therapists that couldn't even figure out that I have autism, my mom found Carol and she has been my therapist since I was 21 when she gave me the dx that my family had been needing. She has attended county board appeal meetings for me and has always been upfront and honest. She canceled my insurance plan for her and she is now instead of charging me $300 per appointment she is only charging me $30 and has been a wonderful person. She has talked me down from several high intensity panic attacks thus saving me thousands of dollars from an emergency room visit. Personally I love that Dr.Bline is my therapist because she has helped me through so many difficult situations in my life. I now have my own independance and I like to think that is thanks to her. If you disagree with my review I don't care because she is everything that I have written above.”
