“Drove by often and finally dropped in with my dad while he was in the neighborhood. Just had the buffet, and selection/taste was best in town compared to others I've been to. Example dessert: Glass door fridges for cream pies, cheesecakes and jello. Wife and I shared bites of the coconut cream and cheesecake. Was there black coffee to go with that? “It's pretty good fresh. To give you an idea of how it squares up we'll use Caine's as our comparison. Mothercluckers as far as taste is superior. The breading has more flavor and the chicken is more tender. I would have liked a little more breading I think. The tenders themselves though are MASSIVE probably about twice the size of Caine's. Now as far as texture it's not as crunchy as Caine's. They have the age old soggy breading problem. So it doesn't have quite the same crunch as Caines. Granted I didn't eat mine till about 10 minutes after purchase so that gave condensation plenty of time to do its work. But if it were fresh it might match Caine's in texture. The fries are better than Caine's. I believe they are fresh cut but I'm not 100% sure. But they have a good seasoning on them. The location of this restaurant. Literally a hole in the wall. Almost, impossible to see because there is no signage whatsoever. It's beneath the indian Kitchen in this tiny room with one man working it. There's graffiti all over the inside which is pretty entertaining. An experience for sure. You should go inside. Overall decent place. I think they could make some improvements but it's pretty good.”

“If you're looking for a decent, quick lunch or breakfast at a very fair price than this is the place for you. We sat down and ordered our drinks from a friendly and smiley waitress who came back and took our order. Before I could get my straw unwrapped she brought out our food! It was a pot pie that was very tasty and quite large. The restaurant may not be too fancy but a good lunch with two drinks from a nice waitress for about $20 is a good find and a place I look forward to trying again sometime.”

Needless to say, after one meal I am a big fan. Got the tortuga. Would recommend. Loved the house made hot sauce. Not a fan of the ketchup, too watery. Meal was great though. And the book collection was refreshing. Will be back for Friday date night that I saw on the board. $32 for 2 drinks and 2 books. Deal.”

Our King size room was updated and they even offer name brand body wash, shampoo, conditioner as well as a hair dryer all in your room. Plus a Keurig coffee maker and fridge too! I would highly recommend staying here if you are ever in the area!”
