I always feel like she listens to me and cares about my needs and feelings. She is the first doctor I have had that I felt truly listened to me. She is a huge proponent of a healthy lifestyle and treating your body well. She does run behind sometimes, but I’m not bothered by it because of the attention she gives you in your appointment. I also really appreciate that she respects my fear of needles. When she tells me I need a vaccine or a blood draw, I know she truly means it. She doesn’t put you through unnecessary discomfort. “I had a colonoscopy at OGG by Dr. Scott Young. He caused a hole in my large bowel that sent me to the ER facing emergency surgery. My surgeon of 11 years had moved into a different city and 11 years later I found myself in a serious situatiin. The MCMC ER suggested a surgein, Dr.Paje. I was leary, full of fear already having experienced two previous bowel perforations, not knowing this dr. added to the fear. I will say he had the best bedside manner, personable, compassionate and very thorough in explaining what the next steps would be in my situation. . Highly recommend this surgeon. As far as the office staff, my followup experience was good.”
