(September 30, 2019, 4:37 pm)Lots of fun exploring the trail and the creek. Even though it's late September it's still pretty warm and green. The hike is well marked and maintained. The kids had a blast playing in the water. A great slice of nature in the city!

(May 23, 2018, 12:58 pm)When we first got there we went down the Long stair. At the bottom there is a fork in the road, we turned right to go over the bridge. It was terrible! The trail was over grown and all the trails ended in a dead end. So we went back to the fork and went left. It was amazing and beautiful. We hiked around for 3 hrs with a 6 & 4 yr old, 6 month, and two adults. We loved it. Great views. Hidden gem.

10 Reviews. (513) 761-4313. Caldwell Nature Center is a nice park in northern Cincinnati. It's located about a mile or so off Vine Street in the Carthage area. Caldwell Nature Center rocks! It is conveniently located near to where I work and it is where I practice my trail running.
