Assurance has been wonderful with all of the care, communication and updates. The staff are well trained and extremely compassionate. I would definitely recommend!
As a certified dementia practitioner that works hand in hand with Geriatric Behavioral units, Assurance is exceptionally skilled. Transitioning a loved one for placement is difficult enough and Assurance recognizes the impact that transfer trauma can have on a patient, especially while dealing with behavioral issues. Top notch care.
This hospital atmosphere can be hectic and chaotic at times, but I have seen nurses handle that with great skill and competence. The entire staff from the housekeepers to the doctors take time to personally interact with the patients to meet their physical and emotional needs. The greatest joy I have in working here is seeing a patient change for the better. They come in with behavioral issues which make them unsafe to others and to self. After med adjustment and therapy, they can act and respond appropriately. Their quality of life is definitely increased.
