“Fernbank Park is wonderful! I go there often to walk on the trail which is paved and scenic. Restrooms are clean and parking is plentiful. There is usually a nice breeze off the river and seating along the river side to watch the barges pass. There is also a nice playground for the kiddos. When the weather is nice, there is a brewery and a restaurant on the other side of the road open spring and summer for lunch and dinner.”

The place feels tucked away from the city with all of the trees surrounding the property, yet is only a few minutes away from many restaurants, stores, and parks.
