“Deer Cabin is a beautiful cabin in Hocking Hills. It is right off route 374, but it is far enough off the road to be secluded. It is surrounded by trees. This was our second stay at Deer Cabin. The cabin is decorated nicely. It has three televisions with DVD players. No cable or satellite. They said they have Netflix, but we did not watch television. There are board games and puzzles. They have a basketball game and a bumper pool table. We enjoy playing bumper pool. There is a hot tub outside the cabin and a jetted tub on the inside. The cabin has a beautiful porch. Our first stay we sat there watching deer. This time we watched the squirrels harvesting acorns. There is a nice fire pit with a few chairs around it. The driveway has a gate that can be locked. The cabin is close to the Hocking Hills attractions. The closest is the Rock House, which is about a half mile away. Logan is about twenty minutes away.”

“My wife and I had an awesome time spending the weekend in this cabin with family and friends … We were here in late February. The cabin was very nice, warm, cozy and comfortable. Despite being a three story log cabin (due to the presence of a finished basement), the temperature was comfortable throughout; especially with the fireplace burning and the ceiling fan recirculating the heat back down to the first floor. The amenities were all perfect, and the hot tub was wonderful. The pool table provided a lot of entertainment as well. The nights were nice and dark and quiet, and conducive to good sleeping. There were a couple of blemishes in the cabin that we were aware of, and had to take note of them, just to ensure that we were not blamed and charged for them (see photos).”

“The owners are putting so much work into this place and it really shows! Bathrooms and facilities are updated and comfortable to use, and there’s plenty of space at each site. On top of that, they are kind and welcoming, and the area is perfect. Lots of trails for horses, central to a lot of the Hocking Hills hikes, and between two cute little towns with plenty of mom and pop restaurants to eat at. This place is a gem and I’m so glad we stayed!”

“We rented a A frame cabin for a mini honeymoon,we absolutely loved everything about the cable and then our surroundings,was absolutely beautiful,i.woke up and was at peace out on the back deck having my coffee and listening to all the sweet songs of nature! At first we thought,yea a Lil pricey,but given its the summer season,was well worth every penny we spent! We will definitely be back for another and hopefully longer stay! “Nice diner laurellville is a small town that you would see in movies. I think lumber is big and it's the start to the Hocking hills. I usually go for the local apple cider. This diner is a small town diner. Most of the time while I was there it seemed like everyone knew everyone. Wait staff asking about family of everyone. The food was good. I recommend the special as it seemed like what most people got. They have a full menu, it was all you can eat fish while I was there. They give you 5 big pieces to start and I only asked for 2 more. Sweet tea seemed to be the drink of choice and it was good ole sweet tea. I don't know there hours but it was lunch so open then for sure.”

“Great place for a grown up getaway! Not a place I would take little ones if you don’t plan on heavily supervising to keep them from getting into stuff/redecorating. We had a good time with family, well decorated for the holiday. Mood was set well with music lightly playing upon arrival. Lots of little note cards in important places around the cabin letting you know how to operate equipment. I was not directly involved with check-in/out process but was under the impression that there was mention of fees for this that and the other, making the whole process a little scary for the person in charge, they were in fear for their wallet. We would visit again for sure!”

“I absolutely LOVED this place! It was my first time EVER Horseback Riding! The owners & help are amazing! Very knowledgeable! I learned alot from them. They were so patient with me asking so many questions. They took it step by step with me. Also got to groom our horses before heading out! We did the hour and a half trail.. the "Groom & Ride". You get to relax and get to know and bond with your horse when you choose the Groom and Ride! It was the best experience with the best trails to view as you Horseback! I rode Hot Shot who is 21 years old and has been riding for 17 years! After today. I marked Horseback Riding off my bucket list... and now making it a yearly tradition with my best friend! I highly recommend for other adults who are experienced or never been!”

“We had a great time. All the workers were super friendly. We went on the last day and they still had a good supply of the glass pumpkins. One worker even searched for a specific one from the warehouse for us. The craftsmanship is amazing. The glass blower explained each step as he was doing it and even though he did this all day for the 3 day festival he still seemed to enjoy interacting with the crowd. They also had other vendors selling their items and again some really good stuff, i.e. paintings, miniature glass figurines, jewelry, etc.”
