“I love this local Amish furniture store! This new outdoor table and chairs was exactly what we were wanting. Penny has always been very helpful in finding what we like each time we've made a purchase! Look forward to supporting a local small business again in the future!”

“The owner of this store was great! Very informative and helpful and had some great disc golf stories. Having a great disc golf store in a smaller community is wonderful to see. If we weren't passing through on vacation, we would be regulars here!”

“A really nice little boutique, with a great range of styles and sizes, all very reasonably priced. The young man behind the desk was friendly and helpful.😊”

“Positives: Secluded, clean, cozy, bed very comfortable. Great hot tub. Wifi and Cell service. Water softener. Negatives: Needs a little love. Bulbs missing, couch is broken (needs replacement), blinds beat up (missing wands), shower in the dark (no light above). Overall we really enjoyed our stay.”

“Fantastic place. Make sure you try the apple frozen slush cider. Out of this world. I do not like apple cider but this was delicious. Going back next week to stock up on apples for the winter and get a gallon of cider. Cider keeps only 2 weeks. Want it for Christmas. I think last day open is December 24. Don't miss out.”

“We stayed in the Sieri Glen Cabin. Solid, well-maintained cabin at a GREAT off-season price. Perfect layout, cozy furnishings (though the mattresses can use updating), and up to date kitchen fixtures and appliances. Lots of quality soft furnishings and linens, and they were all impeccably cleaned. The linens, towels, and blankets all smelled wonderfully April fresh. It's obvious the owners really care about the cleanliness of their properties, which we greatly appreciated. Not a lot of frills - you'll need to bring your own hand soap, sponges for doing dishes, towels (for an 8-12 person cabin, only 6 bath towels total were supplied), and hangers if you need to hang up clothes (no dressers). The pots and pans have definitely seen better days - and those days were somewhere in the early 2010s - but we had brought mostly casseroles, so that was okay. Thermostat is for some mysterious reason right next to the fireplace, and there don't appear to be multiple sensors. So warning if you go there in winter and you light the gas fireplace: any place that is not open to the great room will be COLD because the thermostat will think it's already 76 degrees in the house. There's NO WIFI, so heads-up there. However, the cabin offered all the Direct TV channels you could ever want, and a DVD player is available. Hot tub and fire ring outside were in great shape, and porch seating was also adequate and comfy with lots of rocking chairs. However, we had to bring a couple of those rocking chairs inside because the living room seating was not adequate (3-person couch, 1 armchair, 1 recliner, and the 2 futons downstairs were way too heavy to attempt to relocate). The cabin is in a really nice location, with the valley floor laid out to the back, and a great view of the nighttime sky. You can see other cabins surrounding in the distance, so you feel secluded, but not alone, if that makes sense. If you're an experienced "cabin-er", you'll likely be fine because you'll read the description thoroughly and be fully prepared to bring all your own creature comforts, whatever those may be. For people for whom this is your first time in a cabin, just be aware that amenities vary greatly from cabin to cabin, and you may have to think really hard about what amenities you can't live without during a long weekend, THEN look for a cabin that fits those requirements. For us, this cabin was an excellent value and we had an excellent time!”

“This house was perfectly furnished, even kitchen items and bathroom towels, etc already supplied. Beautiful furniture, extremely clean hot tub, volley ball/basketball court inside the barn. There was 1 main bedroom downstairs that had it's own bathroom and upstairs there was 2 rooms with two 2-person beds in each and 1 room with 1 bed. The lake was beautiful and relaxing to sit at. If you book this place you will love it!”

“Very busy little store. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Four stars only because they didn't have any Windex. Nor and generic window cleaner in stock and said when they do get it in stock they sell it really fast. Apparently whomever orders their Windex doesn't realize they should be ordering more of it.”

“We loved our time at Hike Away Hills and didn’t want to leave! The cabin is gorgeous and has every amenity. The hiking trail right off the porch was a great way to start and end our days! We enjoyed identifying the many birds serenading us, and were amazed by the flying squirrels! We can’t wait to come back!”

“We loved the peace and tranquility that the cabin provided as well as the location not being too far from the hikes we wanted to experience. We would highly recommend this treasure to anyone who wants to disconnect and reconnect with loved ones.”

“This was conveniently located but still quiet and removed from the bustle of city life. If you simply look out the front windows of the house, you'll typically spot horses, deer, and other peaceful animals. We were glad to have 2 full bathrooms as well as numerous sleeping options. I stayed in the house with good friends and our two sons had a blast sleeping in the lower level bedroom where they could share sleeping space but each had their own bed. One of the few things I would change is to add a little more lighting - we'd brought some crafty projects and it was a little hard for our aging eyes to see in the low light of the main living space. Overall, highly recommend. Also, while your in the area, check out the Coffee Emporium nearby - a local coffee house and lunch spot - it was cute with excellent quality coffee and tea drinks.”

“Stayed in the Patriot cabin. Great little two bedroom cabin with a brand new fireplace and private hot tub on the back patio. Had a minor issue while we were there, but the owners were really quick to remedy to our satisfaction. They are very responsive and responsible. Great location just north of Hocking Hills State Park. Even though there was a heavy snow while we were there, the roads were easily traversed. Looking forward to going back some day!”

“Great vacation enjoying a cabin in Hocking Hills to celebrate our 20 year anniversary! The cabin had everything we needed, was clean and made for a great spot to soak and rest after beautiful hikes. Very responsive and would completely stay at one of their homes again!”

“I absolutely loved my two-hour ride with my guide Theresa. Two hour rides are $70 and you get a beautiful ride through the hills of their property. There are some steep uphills and downhills to make the ride fun. Theresa is an excellent guide and I felt relaxed and safe. Great for all experience riders. I’ve already recommended to anyone asking for a great place to ride!”
