(June 12, 2023, 8:58 am)I work for a design firm for hotels, and have seen quite a few upscale and not so upscale.
This hotel is actually good for a budget hotel. Usually budget hotels are "a bed to sleep in" and that's the only quality they have, because they're a budget hotel. This one keeps up its appearances and maintenance better, putting it in what I would call upper budget quality.
Externally, the place has rough edges. Internally though, it's a completely different story. Not a single speck of mold or mildew in my room that I could find. I couldn't find any signs of bedbugs either. Things were overall quite clean.
It's still a budget hotel. Still a place to sleep. But at least it gets the job done comfortably. -

(May 1, 2023, 9:32 am)I highly recommend staying here it's in perfect location the rooms are comfortable.the breakfast is good.......but the staff is what sold me Mrs Ruth is awesome.....we will stay with spruce wood any time......thank you guys
