If you AND your family want a place of worship that feels like home, no better place then THE Gathering Community. Everyone is welcoming and very friendly, the music is current and live, the musicians are very talented, and Pastor Tom teaches the word of GOD, by the way he’s got a great personality, and KIM ( pastors wife KIM, one of the best) my grandparents loved them, know I will continue to love them 🙏🏼

The people are VERY friendly, the Music was amazing, and the message was very relevant for today. Highly recommend a place to visit.
Currently located inside Midway Mall across from Best Buy. They are working on a location on Griswold Rd., but that probably won't be ready for at least a year. Children's church and nursery are located in Island Safari (also inside Midway Mall). Pastor Tom Shumate provides Biblically based preaching. Music is a mix of traditional hymns (some with contemporized music) and contemporary worship songs. The church feels like a family.
