UH Westshore Primary Care: Ridgel Jason D MD

When I say he is a miracle doctor that’s exactly what he is. I was going to another doctor for Thomas 20 years. I was very sick since November 2021. I was highly neglected from the other care from the other doctor. I seen Dr Ridgel in January. The day of my appointment he sent me to the ER For testing. 20 minutes after I left the hospital he called to tell me I was very sick and I needed to go and be admitted. I was very scared but I was very happy that he was able to find out what was wrong with me and I knew that I was going to be OK. He is very patient very understanding he listens to all your needs and how you’re feeling. When I say he save my life he really did. I am so thankful for him. He is very patient understanding and all around a caring Dr. Now my whole family goes to him and I know we are in good hands.

Dr. Ridgel has been my children's doctor since they were born. He has been my moms, my sisters family and my family's doctor for over 19 yrs now. He is a GREAT doctor!!!

Dr. Ridgel has been my daughter's doctor for many years, and my own doctor for a few years now. He never seems to be in a hurry during our appointment, and in fact gives the impression that he has all the time in the world to listen, and discuss any issues, or questions you have for him. I've never asked him about an alternative way to treat my particular pain issue that he has not known what I'm asking about, and offer his opinion as to why or why not that would help, nor does he give the impression that he is the doctor, and you just need to listen to him, and not question him, as some doctors seem to do. If you do not like being rushed by your doctor, or being dismissed by your inquiries, then Dr. Ridgel is most definitely the doctor for you!!

I initially met Dr. Jason Ridgel through my wife, as he is her Primary Care Doctor. After going to a few of my wife's appointments with her, I automatically knew I also had to make him my Primary Care Doctor shortly after as well. Dr. Jason Ridgel is a very intelligent Doctor who takes the time to really get to know your health, and he genuinely shows very much care for your needs. He deeply evaluates the type of care he feels that is best suited for your individual needs, & is a very astute Doctor who truly listens to his patient's testimonies with empathy and care, and will give you the most professional utmost attention and care. I've personally never had a Doctor listen to me or my wife the way he does, and I highly recommend him to anybody looking for a great doctor! You won't regret choosing Dr Jason Ridgel as your Doctor! His bedside manner is outstanding and you leave his office feeling very taken care of!

Doc. Ridgel has been our family doctor for 14yrs now. I've never had any problems with him or his nurses. Doc. Ridgel takes the time to actually listen to what his patients have to say. I love that he's not the type of doctor to rush things or push surgery on you.... He will tell me different ways that he can treat us and always ask me "what do you think?" Or "what do you want to do?".... then we come to a conclusion together. Lately they have been having phone problems....so if it keeps ringing and not go to the answering machine, go into the office.
