  I purchased a very nice 61 VW beetle from them about a week ago. John Micalak was my salesperson. He is fantastic. I always said I would never purchase a car without driving it and seeing it in person. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do this during the time period. I talked to John for several weeks before deciding to buy the car. He was extremely helpful and informative! I also considered a 356 replica, which cost quite a bit more. John steered me towards the VW saying it's a better car and his favorite in the showroom. It impressed me that he could have made more off me with the Porche, but didn't try to upset me! The showroom has an Incredible stock of amazing cars!

  John was great to deal with he made sure I new everything about the car before I bought it. Great selection and quality cars. My 1970 is everything i thought it would be no surprises. I like that. Great place to buy old VW's

  I was pleasantly surprised when I cold-called Central Classic Cars in Ohio (I’m in Southern California) about a 1969 Lotus Elan & I got James on the phone. He was very pleasant & responsive to my questions.
  
  What he knew, he was honest and to the point about. What he didn’t, he was also honest about and immediately forwarded me to a gentleman named Bret Abraham whose company had done all the current services on the vehicle in question.
  
  Bret was essentially a vintage & current Lotus car Wikipedia of a man. I’m very thankful of his knowledge & third-party assistance. He was a great help at helping me to come to a decision.
  
  I've been very seeking a vintage 60’s Lotus Elan for over 5 years & always wanted a Lotus as I love the marque, but I really wanted to start with the car that defined the name Lotus with handling. I had driven over a dozen Elan's & loved every experience so far.
  
  They provide just enough fun & ‘terror’ in a small & enjoyable package that very few non-car people can understand. You might say that they’re All Thrills & Zero Frills. Because when people say Lotus cars are spartan in their design, they’re not kidding. In all honesty, it’s really nothing more than a street legal go-cart at the end of the day.
  
  However finding my own was proving to be almost more work than it was worth as they don’t last when they go up for sale. Most of the time, I’m either too late to the table, the seller want’s too much money or the car requires too much work for it to be worth my time.
  
  Thankfully after speaking to James on the phone a few times before I even purchased the car. I put down 10% and acquired a 3rd party (Road Ready Inspections) to go look at the car for me, due mostly to the fact that my schedule wouldn’t & couldn’t allow me the time to physically fly to Ohio merely to look at a car.
  
  If it had been a simple Vintage Mustang, I could’ve purchased one near my home. Unfortunately seeking a (somewhat rare) vintage Lotus was becoming a chore & finding a car that fit within the confines of what I was seeking, even if I had to send a third party to look at it was worth my time, money & effort at this point.
  
  From the first call, to purchasing the car after dealing with the third-party inspector; it took approximately 2 weeks, plus of course the time in between for me to make the decision, do paperwork and the wire transfer.
  
  Then less than a week to ship and deliver the car through a company called My Transport Guy who did it in record time and did everything in their power to make the delivery work seamlessly for me, even though they had some issues with delivery of the car as their truck was huge.
  
  Like 3 lanes required to turn huge and my street… Well it’s easier to drive up my street with a Lotus Elan than a 50+ foot long & nearly 10 feet wide truck. But they did what they said they could and didn’t falter in the least bit.
  
  All in all, I’m extremely happy with my purchase. In many ways, I’m downright elated. It’s everything I expected & everything both James at Central Classic Cars and the 3rd party (Road Ready Inspections) said it would be. Obviously it has it’s issues as a 50 year old car should, but it's all good & nothing would have fit my needs like this car does.
  
  I’m very thankful for all the time and effort James at Central Classic Cars put into making my purchase that much more special and proficient.
  
  I was very worried of so much, but James delighted me with a very smooth and outstandingly professional sale, transaction and even after sale experience.
  
  I actually fully expected to never hear from him again after the sale, but he’s just keeps impressing me with his interest in my enjoyment of the vehicle and its new life with me.
  
  So all in all, there’s not a lot more to say about my experience with Central Classic Cars. If you’re looking for your dream car, a hard to find classic or just a great ride, give James a call.
  
  P.S. I've cut this review down a few times for a few different review sites, Google has a lower word count than most, but my experience with CCC was worth the time to do it.
