    One of my preferred spots for tasty Japanese food. Nothing but enjoyable experiences here. Prices are appropriate. Atmosphere and food reminds me of Virginia Beach.

    My spouse and I order carryout from Tougen regularly. There is currently no indoor seating due to COVID as of September 2020. Everything on the menu is very good, my favorite in particular is the robatayaki (meat skewers). Very tasty and delicious. The prices are very reasonable, especially the 4-roll sushi dinner for $16. Recommended!

    I can't say enough about the food here. Everything I've tried has been amazing. If you like sushi, this is a must try. It's a small venue but the owner and staff make an effort to know you and offer recommendations. I'm new to sushi and have been very pleased with the variety. They also have hibachi (very flavorful) and ramen (a favorite). Bottom line, give them a try!
