The Metro Parks of Toledo take care of their parks really well. During this particular visit my partner and I were visiting the Manor House, which is detailed on another review. We did go to a model train exhibit, although I'm really not a fan of Lionel. It was fine, however because of my model train preferences I could have spent the 15 minutes of walking to the building and walking around the displays in other ways. Where I did walk about, there was no litter on the ground and everything was clean, as I would expect with a Toledo Metro Park. I will come back.
We love going on hikes/walks here. It's a nice nature escape. So many trails to choose from! Sometimes we see deer and wild turkeys, and we always enjoy watching the smaller wildlife. The trails are wide and well kept, and the bathrooms are clean.
The playground is a favorite too.
I grew up in this park. Wide variety of trails and different types of natural environments, and an excellent new playground for kids. Almost always has a very friendly, laid-back vibe. (Edit: still support these statements.)
Classic Toledo Metropark. Great hiking and biking. Splash in some historical buildings and some nice playgrounds. A popular location for seasonal events. May be buggy by the creek but the boardwalk is a beautiful trail regardless
Love this park moved away first time back in a long time saw a lot of deer
