  Tried this place for the first time tonight after a few glowing recommendations and was not disappointed. Spent less than $20 and could've fed a literal army. I imagine this pizza isn't for everyone, as it's a rather thin New York style, but this is exactly what I was craving and it totally hit the spot. Also got a sub and it was so yummy. Anyone who knows me knows I love food that's fresh, cheap and in generous portions. Service was also super friendly and I appreciated that. This checked all my boxes and I will most DEFINITELY be ordering again soon.

  I went in after 8pm not knowing they stop single slices at 8 and the guy who helped me went above and beyond. Not only did he fulfill the daily special which already ended, but the pizza was amazing. My 11 yr old is so picky and he ate the entire slice. The slices are so big 1 was all he needed. I also noticed how clean the place is. It is absolutely immaculate! Can't wait to go back. I'll edit this after returning 2 months later and now they have homemade ranch which is awesome. Nice and tangy tasting!

  I think I found my new favorite pizza in Toledo. Great flavor, huge portions, and you can't beat the price, $13 for a 18'' pie. I've paid double that for a 16" pie when I was living in Chicago. Chatted briefly with the owner when I picked up and he's clearly passionate about making good pizza. Check this place out, it's worth the drive.

  Finally! A true NY style pie. We've been trying a lot of pizza joints in Toledo and getting a lot of thin crust pizza that is clearly not hand tossed. This place does it right. The price was great, better than the chain places, considering the size of the pie and the fresh made flavor. Guy on the phone said it would be ready in 15 minutes and we waited 45 minutes before showing up and he offered to remake the pizza for us, on his dime. Super awesome service! Above and beyond. Support this place! I'd definitely recommend it over most of the other pizza places in town.

  Got chicken parm add peperoncini (on half) and olives for the kids and it was spectacular. Perfect crunch and chew to the crust.

Big Slice Pizzeria. Rua dos Fanqueiros No 14, Lisbon 1100-231, Portugal (Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores). +351 808 275 423. The slices are HUGE, exactly what I imagine them to be like in NYC. Not the cheapest I guess, but the veg. slice tastes good and you don't have to wait.
